Introduction

Introduction

Hi, my name is Nandung Erlanda, a new college student in Tanjungpura University, in soil science major, Agriculture faculty. I’m from a sub district called Manis Mata, in Ketapang District which is known for “Batu Kecubung”.

             The reason I took this major because of the benefit or chance in the field work is widely open
 

(exactly in my hometown which is known for Palms oil company), even this major wasn’t my first

favorite choice. My first major choice is Agribusiness, and the second choice is elementary school

teacher. Even I’m not passed in my first and second choice, I’m still very lucky because my major now

still related to agriculture faculty.

Why I’m here, in this major, I don’t know either, because this wasn’t my choice at all. As I mentioned before that my first choice is agribusiness major, but suddenly I pass the soil science major which I none of my choice.

Why I able to survive? Or how I will survive in this major, even I haven’t start yet, I’ll mindset myself that my parents have tried the best for me to be here, so I promised myself that I will succeed with this major.

My future plans are: first, I would try to finish as soon as possible, at least 4 years shortly. Second, I would like to apply my knowledge after graduate from the university in my own field. Lastly, I want to make my parents happy and proud of me.
